4160 Tuesdays - Babylon Sunset


Roses and jasmine, with a sandalwood fruit bowl filled with ripe peaches, tangerines and grapefruits, topped with raspberry sorbet and vanilla ice cream, all drizzled with honey.

Babylon Sunset was inspired by the richly blossoming 80s fruity florals and to get the effect of those long lost delights, we use natural rose, jasmine and sandalwood on a base of musk, vanilla and soft woods. 

The fruits include strawberry, raspberry, grapefruit and tangerine.

The first edition was called Says Alice as we made a single bottle for our cousin Alice's 21st birthday present. We wanted a sophisticated fragrance for the traditional transition to adulthood.

Heerlijke zoete ietwat kinderlijke geur die me ook meteen meenam naar vroeger , ik ruik vooral de honing en de jasmijn.
Eigenlijk zou ik willen dat de geur iets sterker was en nu moet ik nog op zoek naar iets om de geur mee te layeren zonder het unieke karakter van de geur aan te tasten.
