BORNTOSTANDOUT was born in Seoul, in a society where success and identity often seem predefined. The house asks who actually decides what normal means, and deliberately chooses the misfits, the free thinkers and everyone who colours outside the lines. Its motto: better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation.
The Signature of the House
The fragrances combine natural absolutes and exotic spices with safe modern molecules. Synthetics replace animal-derived ingredients, plant materials with sustainability concerns and essential oils with strong allergens. The house works with renowned perfumers such as Jordi Fernández, Margaux Le Paih-Guérin, Olivier Cresp, Honorine Blanc and Véronique Nyberg, and the bottles are recyclable and refillable.
Collections
The Eau de Parfum collection, with 30 to 40% perfume oil, is the core of the house, with scents such as Drunk Lovers, Dirty Rice, Dirty Heaven, Drunk Saffron, Indecent Cherry, Nuts and Cola Addict. Extrait Extrême holds 55 to 62% perfume oil and matures for three months in Onggi, traditional Korean pottery: Black Guava, Black Mango, Oud Candy, Purple Stain, Melón Malo and Drunk Lovers Extrait Extrême. Eau Intimité is the intimate, transparent collection worn like a second skin: Musc X, Cuvée Skin, Warm Air, Gold Juice and Candy Dust.
