Bloody Wood is built on contrast, cool metallic tension against the warmth of wood, white against red, like a silent duel unfolding on skin. It opens with an unusual vinous freshness, the sensation of wine lees, softened by violet and rose for a refined, almost polished edge. Then the red heart appears: cherry and raspberry, juicy but never sugary, more like the depth of a full bodied wine. In the drydown, oak barrel woods and creamy sandalwood take over, giving the fragrance a smooth, lingering warmth. Bold yet sophisticated, and unmistakably niche.

Mijn lieve Bloody Wood, ik keek er heel erg naar uit om je te testen. Ik dacht dat als ik je zou dragen dat ik me dan een chique tante zou voelen die met haar society posse rode wijn in het bos zat te drinken met een ondergaand zonnetje.
Ik vond je vooral heel erg naar kersen ruiken met een zweempje hout, niks mis mee. Maar we hebben gewoon beiden naar de verkeerde kant geswipet. En je was trouwens ook best snel verdwenen. Je hebt nu vast al een date geregeld met je volgende match want je bent best mooi. Maar je bent gewoon mijn type niet.
Het was behoorlijk warm toen ik Bloody Wood testte, ze schijnt het beter te doen in koudere condities hoorde ik van iemand anders.
