Inspiration
Bloody Wood is inspired by the rich history and mythology of wine, born of the vine and celebrated since antiquity. The scent plays with the duality between white and red, cool metal and warm oak, love and betrayal. It is the third part of the wine triptych, alongside Dom Rosa and Bello Rabelo.

White wine lees, violet and rose oxide open fresh and a little metallic. The heart is dark red: a fruity red wine accord with cherry and raspberry. A woody accord, sandalwood and the scent of an oak barrel give a dry, warm base.

It rarely gets more exciting in this collection than Bloody Wood, we feel. It starts cool, almost like a glass of white wine, then grows ever redder and juicier. The oak gives it a mature, woody finish we find very elegant. Anyone who loves cherry in perfume but wants nothing candy-like should definitely smell it. It is unisex and beautiful on cool autumn evenings.

Mijn lieve Bloody Wood, ik keek er heel erg naar uit om je te testen. Ik dacht dat als ik je zou dragen dat ik me dan een chique tante zou voelen die met haar society posse rode wijn in het bos zat te drinken met een ondergaand zonnetje.
Ik vond je vooral heel erg naar kersen ruiken met een zweempje hout, niks mis mee. Maar we hebben gewoon beiden naar de verkeerde kant geswipet. En je was trouwens ook best snel verdwenen. Je hebt nu vast al een date geregeld met je volgende match want je bent best mooi. Maar je bent gewoon mijn type niet.
Het was behoorlijk warm toen ik Bloody Wood testte, ze schijnt het beter te doen in koudere condities hoorde ik van iemand anders.
