Part of the Eaux Sanguines Trilogy. A trilogy devoted to wine and its ancient and enduring parallels with perfume: the blending of the finest of natural resources by the skill of man, and the spell of intoxication cast from Heaven. The red rose and the white; the different colours of wine. A perfume of duality and challenges which examines the divine gift of wine which induces clarity and escape; insight and carnality. Luxurious top notes of violet, rose oxyde and red wine lees sweeten into a rich heart of cherry, raspberry and vineyard grape. The base exudes the aromas of oaken casks saturated in wine blended with creamy sandalwood.
