Awake is AKRO’s coffee fragrance. Everyone remembers the moment coffee became indispensable: the rich, bitter kick in the morning or the steaming espresso after a good meal. Awake captures the scent of a warm coffee shop on a cold day: freshly ground beans, steam, warmth and bitter luxury.

For us, Awake is a scent with a quiet confidence of its own: energising, bitter and understated. On the skin the scent opens with santos coffee and lemon, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then green cardamom takes over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into vetiver, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best in autumn and winter, on cool evenings and at dinner. A scent for coffee lovers seeking a dry, not overly sweet scent.
