Inspiration
Apex is about our connection to nature and listening to our innermost instincts, to reach the peak of our potential. Perfumer Antoine Cotton wanted to depict a mysterious jungle landscape, where green, leafy and aromatic plants work together in photosynthesis. In Eau Intense, pomelo, rose oxide and salty driftwood join a chlorophyll accord in a play of light and strength.

The Signature of Apex Eau Intense
Where the original Apex is resinous and dark, Eau Intense opts for green and air. Lavender, clary sage and mint make the opening aromatic and cool; the chlorophyll accord smells of crushed leaves. Rose oxide, a molecule from rose oil with a metallic fresh tone, gives a bright sheen together with pomelo. In the base, driftwood, Ambroxan, myrrh and Velvione create a soft, mineral wood.

We find Eau Intense the most modern scent of the Apex family. The first minutes are crisp and green, with mint and pomelo that smell almost like a tropical greenhouse. Then it calms down, turning woodier, with a salty touch reminiscent of the coast. Hours later a clean, soft wood remains, politely present all day. We tend to wear it in spring and summer, by day and at work. Ideal for those seeking freshness with Roja quality.
