Antidote is the scent we reach for most when someone asks about rose for winter. It starts surprisingly spicy, almost as if someone were grating nutmeg over a bunch of roses. After an hour the honey arrives and softens it without ever turning sticky. The tobacco is something you sense more than smell, like a low voice in the room. On a scarf it holds on for days. We love it with dark wool and a glass of red wine, and it suits men at least as well as women.
