Inspiration
Pierre Guillaume pictured a smoking room by architect Robert Mallet-Stevens in the 1930s: leather armchairs, panelling of pear wood and mahogany, laughter from a festive crowd. Marlene Dietrich in a cloud of cigarette smoke was his muse.

The Signature of Animal Mondain
Pear tree leaves open fresh, green and lightly fruity. Then the Turkish tobacco absolute unrolls, with hints of hay and honey. Mahogany gives a warm, polished base that stays for a long time.

Animal Mondain is tobacco with manners. It is warm and honeyed, but the pear leaf keeps it elegant and light. In the shop we like spraying it on a strip for people who say tobacco is too heavy, and they often change their minds. Ideal with a tweed jacket.
