Inspiration
Altair from the Gold Collection tells the legend of two ancient realms, the Land of the Sun and the Land of the Moon, separated by a roaring river and yearning for peace. White flowers such as jasmine, gardenia and ylang-ylang shine above citrus and blackcurrant, before vanilla, amber and vetiver round the scent off warmly.

An opening of lemon, jasmine, gardenia, ylang-ylang, bergamot, mandarin orange, black currant and truffle sets the tone. At the heart, jasmine, spices, fruity notes, lotus, gardenia and ylang-ylang unfold, before patchouli, musk, vanilla, amber and vetiver give the scent a lasting, warm finish.

Altair is, for us, a scent that reveals itself slowly, with a radiant, sunny character that lingers. On the skin the scent opens with lemon and jasmine, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then jasmine and spices take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into patchouli and musk, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best in spring and summer, during the day and on holiday. A scent for lovers of sunny white florals.
