Inspiration
Akdeniz is what the Turks call the Mediterranean, literally the white sea. Unique'e Luxury had in mind the early hours on the Bodrum coast, when the fishermen return, the air is still briny and the wild thyme between the rocks is already warming in the first sun.

The Signature of Akdeniz
Salt, lemon and grapefruit splash up, pineapple adds a crisp sweetness. Lavandin and thyme bring in the dry herb country. Below lie patchouli, cedar, smooth leather and a touch of vanilla.

Akdeniz is the scent we most often find back on our own wrists in July. It opens salty and sparkling, yet never becomes that typical blue aquatic perfume you smell everywhere. After half an hour the thyme and lavandin take over, dry and sunny, and by evening the skin smells of warm leather with a little vanilla, as if you had spent the whole day on a boat. As an extrait it holds that for a long time. We wear it on holiday, on terraces and at the office when we secretly long for summer.
