Aira is not for beginners, and we mean that as a compliment. The cumin gives a warm, slightly skin-like sensuality that suits the labdanum perfectly. Beneath lies a dry oud that never turns heavy, thanks to the ambergris. On skin it lasts for hours, on a wool coat for days. We wear it on cold evenings, to a concert or dinner.
