Lorenzo Pazzaglia set out to capture the fig in every aspect: the branch, the leaves, the skin and the juicy flesh. The image is an afternoon in the shade of a fig tree, freshly picked fruit within reach. Tuberose, chosen in its green, not-yet-flowering stage, gives the scene a vivid, true-to-nature clarity.
