Inspiration
In the volcanic hills of Uganda grows a vanilla that smells of leather, fruity cocoa and peated whisky. Pierre Guillaume called it a tomboy. The find took him back to Baudelaire, and to the poem from which this scent takes its name.

The Signature of A Une Madone
Cardamom opens fresh and spicy. The Ugandan vanilla is dark, dry and a touch smoky, softened by a milky guaiac accord. Animalic sandalwood gives a full, skin-warm base.

A Une Madone is the vanilla we could talk about for hours. It smells not of cake, but of an old library with a glass of whisky on the table. The cardamom keeps it clear, the sandalwood makes it sensual. One of our regular customers has worn nothing else since she smelled it.
