The Signature of A Night at the Opera
Labdanum and bergamot open balmy and bright, with a green touch of artemisia and sweet grass. Tobacco and leather form the characterful heart, while patchouli, Cashmeran, guaiac wood and amber give the scent a serene, warm depth.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
A Night at the Opera moves us with its balance between labdanum and patchouli: refined, without ever becoming loud. On the skin the scent opens with labdanum and artemisia, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then tobacco and leather take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into patchouli and Cashmeran, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best on autumn and winter evenings, for a special occasion. A scent for lovers of tobacco and leather with a refined, theatrical allure.
