Under My Skin

Inspiration
Under My Skin is Francesca Bianchi's interpretation of the animalic theme. After many experiments with heavy, sweet or stable-like animalic notes, she chose a leathery, slightly animalic and powdery version that suits her. The name comes from a conversation with an artist who said the scent seemed to emanate from the skin itself.

The Signature of Under My Skin
Grapefruit, lavender, black pepper and spices open fresh and spicy. Bulgarian rose, carnation and iris butter form a powdery, clove-like heart, and musk, castoreum, ambergris, leather, costus, balsams, Mysore sandalwood and treemoss give a warm, sensual base.

The carnation and iris give a beautiful, old-fashioned powder, and the costus and castoreum make it warm and a touch naughty. We find it among the most refined animalic scents we know, never dirty, always sensual. It shows best on warm skin. A scent to wear close to someone.
