Description

Amour de Palazzo

Inspiration
Amour de Palazzo is set in Venice, the Serenissima. After an enchanted night in a palazzo, a couple in love wanders at dawn through narrow streets and along canals. The rich scent of centuries-old polished wood and leather mingles with the gardens, the damp stone and the lagoon.

Fragrance Family
Woody and leather

The Olfactive Composition
Top notes: Pepper, clove, ginger, nutmeg
Heart notes: Violet absolute, Atlas cedar, leather, Indonesian patchouli, labdanum
Base notes: Musk, oud, amber, papyrus, castoreum

Perfumer
Dorothée Piot

The Signature of Amour de Palazzo
Four spices, pepper, clove, ginger and nutmeg, open warm and lively. Violet absolute, Atlas cedar, leather and labdanum form a heart like antique furniture, before musk, oud, amber, papyrus and castoreum lay a deep, sensual base.

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
For us, Amour de Palazzo is a scent with a quiet confidence of its own: rich, warm and understated. On the skin the scent opens with pepper and clove, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then violet absolute and Atlas cedar take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into musk and oud, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best on autumn and winter evenings, for a special occasion. A scent for lovers of leather and wood with a classic Venetian grandeur.
