Inspiration
The fleur-de-lis, the stylised lily on the arms of the French kings, was in fact an iris. Houbigant, once purveyor to Marie Antoinette, honours that flower with a scent that smells of a field in the early morning.

Iris can be stern and cool, but here it is friendly and sunny. We find the pink pepper in the opening a clever touch, giving just that bit of sparkle. After an hour a soft, powdery floral skin remains that you keep wanting to smell. A scent for spring and early summer, and for anyone who loves romantic but not sweet.
