Parfum d'Orsay
We cannot recount the story of Parfums d´Orsay without mentioning the famous chevalier d´Orsay, who charmed Gustave Doré, Berlioz, Alfed de Vigny and Lamartine, and in 1830 created the first of his fragrances out of love. Alfred, Count d´Orsay was one of the most celebrated Dandies of his day. He died at the height of his fame in 1852 when he was only 51. Eternally a Dandy of the highest order in the history books of France.
After his death, his family decided to set up the Company Française des Parfums d´Orsay and create the legendary fragrances presented in bottles each more extravagant than the last, made of crystal from Lalique, Baccarat, etc. Over 5 million bottles were sold in 1931! Today´s men and women are searching for elegant originality, and our d´Orsay perfumes, with their gentle extravagance, will be more than able to accompany this exciting quest with panache.
