Meo Fusciuni - 1# Nota di Viaggio - Rites de passage
Meo Fusciuni’s first three fragrances, "Trilogy of a journey" are completely natural to respect the philosophy around which they were created: the research and the respect for other cultures..
Meo Fusciuni’s first work takes us to a delicate and vibrating journey. It has its origin in Istanbul, the Eastern Gate, with a note of black pepper, the magic of bazaars, homesickness, the delight of holy places. The perfume takes shape inside its mixture and metamorphosis. Rites de passage finds its way in the metamorphosis, from the head note of black pepper, grapefruit and bergamot, to the heart note of ylang-ylang and geranium. The deep base note and intimate prayer of incense, the vetiver takes root in the ploughed, devastated land, and the red, pulpy sandalwood gushes from the earth and bears the divine resins and the sweetness of benzoino, the power of patchouli.
".. Rites de Passage is a classic chypre: Turkish black pepper, Calabrian bergamot and
grapefruit on his head, with a sweet heart of ylang-ylang and geranium which then opens the door swirling almost like a chant of the muezzin to celebrate what is for me the door of the East is a fragrance that opens with a lot of toughness, because Istanbul is a city hard, but it is also a city of three thousand mosques, when you get this you have a strong impact with the reality of the plac, the, as in perfume, everything opens and softens and everything returns to the intimacy of faith, and then here sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli incense, and of course ... one of my favorite essences".
