Inspiration
L'Humaniste pays tribute to the humanist François Rabelais, who according to tradition was related to the Frapins. Lemon, bergamot, cardamom and pepper open sparkling, juniper, nutmeg, thyme and peony give an aromatic heart, and a gin accord with oakmoss and tonka finishes fresh and dry.

L'Humaniste is, for us, a scent that reveals itself slowly, with a fresh, intellectual character that lingers. On the skin the scent opens with lemon and bergamot, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then juniper and nutmeg take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into gin and oakmoss, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best in spring and summer, during the day and on holiday. A scent for lovers of gin, juniper and fresh herbs.
