Cire Trudon -  Gabriel Limited Edition Perfumed Candle

Cire Trudon celebrates Christmas with a collection of festive scented candles: their magnetic reflections and luminous surfaces are unique. Handcrafted with care, each glass is first lacquered on the inside before being decorated with silver leaves. Placed one by one, the later leave fine cracks through which the light shines mysteriously. The flickering gives the candle a unique presence.

From time immemorial, Christmas has been a sacred moment, a celebration to be remembered, and collected. The perfect expression of Christmas, the Fir scented candle carries the tree’s religious and vegetal significance. The candle’s green and woody notes further represent nativity: hints of myrrh and incense absolute bring depth to the perfume’s head notes - Siberian pine and fir tree. Presented in a deep metallic blue glass, the Fir scented candle welcomes the olfactory strength and very essence of the Christmas tree.

Carrying a strong heritage and genuine expertise, this institution has established itself through the centuries with a careful commitment to quality. Cire Trudon uses a perfect wax formula and continues to unveil unique candles made with premium quality vegetal wax in respect to the environment. Crafted by glass artisans, each glass is unique and decorated with a gold shield.

Maison Trudon - L'ART DU CIRIER

Henri-Louis Duhamel du Monceau (1700-1782) was elected an associate member of France’s Royal Academy of Sciences in 1730. He actively participated in publishing the Description des Arts et des Métiers (Description of Arts and Crafts) collection by writing over twenty leaflets. One was dedicated to the “Candler’s Art”.

To help write the article, Duhamel du Monceau solicited Master Trudon whose expertise was invaluable. The text explained how wax is worked and then bleached to create church candles, flambeaux and torches … This leaflet confirmed, at the highest level, the skills and expertise of Cire Trudon.
