Originally launched in 1860, White rose became a legend at the beginning of the 20th century as the signature fragrance of Aleksandra Fedorovna Romanova of Russia, born Alix of Hesse and of the Rhine. Next to the grand matriarch sat her beloved bottle of White Rose in a beautiful bespoke bottle, today housed in the Tsarskoe Selo Museum in St Petersburg.
